Combating domestic violence

Domestic violence is a scourge practiced within the walls of a house, normally applied between relatives with different practices such as sexual violence and abuse against children, violence against women, abuse of the elderly, and sexual violence against their partner. Can be divided into physical violence, aggression involving direct body, loved the household or destruction of personal belongings of the same. Psychological violence involves verbal abuse, threatening gestures, aggressive postures, humiliation and economic violence. Abandonment can also be considered violence. In Portugal, the first idea of domestic violence is automatically inclined to violence against women, but also can be practiced against men women and children against parents. Often the voilence practiced behind closed doors, is not implemented in countries such as friends, family, coworkers, or even neighbors. Usually these acts are done in "classes" social casualties, but there are also many cases in the upper middle classes, or high, just that often the victims do not report the offender for the sake of appearance. The offender may be a good actor, where the most critical times, can cry and ask for favor for the victim not to abandon. We call this psychological violence. In the heart of the Latin and domestic violence is higher, that is, countries like Portugal, Spain, Italy or Latin America.
