Antoni Gaudi




Mocked by the intellectuals of the time, genius architect today. Gaudi was born in the Catalan city of Barcelona on 25 June 1852. He studied medicine in Barcelona where he attended school to attend classes in architecture. The 1873 started his study architecture at the School of Fine Arts, Faculty of Architecture at the University of Barcelona. After being knocked down by a tram, Gaudi died in 1926. It is one of the artists I most admire, is the architect that fascinates me, when Freddie Mercury sang Barcelona, was undoubtedly thinking about the unique style of Gaudi. Because he had a dream with him and others, he wanted this dream never ends up, to stay forever. He dreamed to perfection and got it. The characteristics of his works is the unmistakable style is very personal interpretation of the forms. Interest in Gothic and Muslim art.
