Acropolis of Athene- Greece

This decision has weakened the city would lose the Peloponnesian War of 431-404 BC Erected, however, an artistic whole that sought to reveal to the world the virtuosity of a culture and a civilization. The issue presented in the metopes of the Parthenon were gigantomachy, centauromachy, amazonomachy and the Trojan War, or mention the confrontation between rational and irrational, East and West, that is, Greeks and Persians.

I do not know what to say to myself, I do not know if I have an extraordinary sixth sense or if I'm completely losing my mind. If my desire to leave the country is swarming is the surface, and this is reflected in its common sense. Since that day that my intuition was never the same. Life made me awaken to a reality completely unknown until then. One day I woke up anxious because of a dream he'd had that night, an angelic voice saying in my ear: "I wish ...", but want what? I thought the dream complete nonsense, but the expression persisted in not out of my head, so I tried to make up with "... all the time, but it seemed that that was not what was missing, there was something else. Some nights I dreamed again with the voice saying the same thing, but this time there was a character, a young, tall, dark, athletic, but with a very sad and dreary, I know not what. He was eating if someone asked me for help, but there was something that was preventing, but days later forgot about it, in my opinion, I think dreams are just a reflection of our concerns of daily life. Nothing more that. To me witchcraft and divination are just a business or a part.time. Again I tried to forget the matter, and had forgotten temporarily. Two weeks later I started to reread some books on some European countries, one of Sweden. A I was especially captivated by the pictures and texts about that country, a culture is truly fascinating. In the midst of reading, had rediscovered one of my favorite bands from childhood, the Roxette. It was a good coincidence rediscover the band, hear again the songs that I danced many times and find new songs that also made me dream. Amidst these new songs, was the missing piece, "Wish I Corld Fly". When I first heard the music did not believe, I still think that completely lost his mind, or maybe not. After seeing the video clip, I realized that everything in my life have made sense, he might be wrong. Everything has a reason, perhaps everything that happens in life has a reason to be. I am absolutely in love with the atmosphere of that enchanted land, places, culture, sounds and things that gave me power to want to live. The power of wanting to fly to places I have missed, but never the Vision in my life until today. But I'm afraid to fool me, everything seems unreal. Now you truly believe in me, I lost the fear of making mistakes and saying or doing something wrong, not afraid of anyone. No longer worry about what people may think, I do not care more about the voices jealous. I feel stronger than ever, I want to trust myself, my instinct, or whatever. So I made this video as an example of everything that I feel almost a year. Vocesses If any of you who like music a lot and makes you remember something like that and believe me a lot, do not think twice and make a video, it may just work. Maybe that's bullshit law of attraction will work. Good luck!

My 3 passions

Since early tastes had very advanced for my age, I never liked the boy band, or cartoon, joke and did not understand what, why do my colleagues all laughed and I did not. That my colleagues had gathered money to buy magazines BD while I was waiting thrilled to see the new video clip of U2, or saw the movie Star Wars or Batman. It all started when I was five years ago when one of my older brothers told me: - Hey, little sister sees it is worth, is a good movie. Obviously he was talking about Star Wars. It was my first movie, and there was love first sight, until today. The Star Wars has become a tradition in my family, were passed to cousins of cousins, brothers to brothers and fathers to sons. And I intend to spend in the future for my nephews. My favorite movie of the saga is the "Return of the Jedi", which coincidentally was released the same year of my birth in 1983. It is impossible to forget characters like Luke, Han, Leia, Lord Vader, R2D2 and 3PO. Then came the first passion that continues today. With the Batman story was slightly different, when I was seven years saw the movie "Batman" (1989), I got very interested in the character of black cape. and as today, the Batman and Star Wars are always at the most complicated of my life, but none of both exist. Later, back in '94, came the "Batman Return", but not my brothers liked, nor my parents. Then one Christmas Eve saw the film alone, was a little creepy for a girl of that age, but nevertheless was the best Christmas Eve of my childhood. Thus began my second passion. When I see Bruce Wayne, the first people I remember is my grandfather Joe. Like Wayne, my grandfather never left his arms in the most difficult moments of his life. He was a hero until his last breath on 30 June 1979. But my grandfather died Ze with a single desire to be realized, a granddaughter, four years after his death I was born. I am the last wish of my grandfather. As my father never had a very active role in my education was my mother, my uncles and my grandmother who took care to educate me and my brothers. My uncle Oscar is my mother's brother, and is the most important man in my life, his wife, Aunt Luzita is a woman of arms to the time of his death regarded me as your daughter and sons, and Finally the most important people in my life, my mother, and woman who saved the life of me get the clutches of that monster. When I was little slept very little, then got up out of bed and went to my bedroom window you want the whole thing was over. But today the ghosts of the past still remain and are alive and well. Titanic appeared in a documentary on the great tragedies of history. As always liked history very much, did extensive research on the ship. The Titanic is a coalition of several factors has meant to me, history, sea, machinery, and design. The power of a machine, the quality of materials, and the famous statue of the eighteenth century, the avant-garde technology used on board and had the reputation of inaufragável up at 02:20 of the day April 15, 1914 that fame was with the ship the seabed. He had a rich decoration with gilded pillars, silk upholstery, wicker on the terraces, hot water was considered a luxury for the time, and a live orchestra that was faithful to the very end. The cleaning was done in the most minute detail in the first class, but however, in the second and third conditions were a guesthouse. After the sinking Titanic survivors who arrived by sea, enjoyed seeing the first sign of American, the Statue of Liberty in New York. It was the first sign of hope for a better life. Thus came into my last great passion.

Lady Liberty
"The New Colossus" by Emma Lazarus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Over the centuries they have created myths, that somehow stayed in our imagination for eternity. Symbols of hope for millions of people around the world who yearn for their freedom and a better life. Best example is the great emigration to the USA, people who came from all over the world to the promised land. When the USA reached the port of New York, envisioned the greatest symbol of the American dream, the Statue of Liberty or Lady Liberty. The statue is on Liberty Island, near the port of New York. Designed and built by the Alsatian sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi (1834-1904), inspired by the model of his own mother. For the metal construction, Bartholdi had the help of Gustave Eiffel (the same who designed the Eiffel Tower). It was a gift from Napoleon III to the USA for having won the battle to the UK. After the Americans have built the foundation on 28 October 1886 and the Statue of Liberty was being conpleto. The famous sonnet of Emma Lazarus "New Colossus" was written in 1883. But it was first copy Bartholdi made a first copy in a smaller scale, this time they are exposed in the garden of Luxenbourg in Paris. It has a Roman symbolism, with angelic face (face serene), clothes, sandals and the perfect shape. All its splendor is reminiscent of Greek mythology, with all the meaning against tyranny and human evil. The Keystone in her hand represents knowledge and shows the date of the United States Declaration of Independence, in Roman numerals, July IV, MDCCLXXVI. The Statue of Liberty opened in 1986. The original torch was changed in 1986 and is in the museum on display. "Come to me the masses exhausted, confused and poor yearning to breathe free. Come to me, the homeless, those in the storm. I guide with my torch. "
I believe that this rock called Earth there is someone who feels the same as I feel this very moment, a completely lost soul. Someone who knows what he is fighting to take something you love from the heart, the one that just wants to scream. I am sure there is someone like that. I do not believe in eternal love, and just want someone who understands me. I do not believe in fairy tales all my life I had only one objective, to think about my future. I never had time for many illusions, always had to work hard to have a stable future for myself and those I love most. I know that today for my future path will be identical. But I'm ready, I am not giving up and I'm ready. For those who have endured such hardship, I have to endure a few more throughout life. I do not believe in no God, just believe I'm ready to fly up to my goals. We make monkeys at times, close your eyes, mouth and ears. Only then do we hear ourselves. There is no one to be more than ourselves.

Dyslexia is a condition that is characterized by difficulties in understanding in the written, oral. Causes gaps, distortions and errors in the environment for them. This disease does not mean stupid, or is a mental retardation, there are smart people with dyslexia and can make a life course perfectly normal. A dyslexic must first organize my writings on topics, then compose the text. Experts advise dyslexics to read many books, is a good exercise for the mind. For your commute a dyslexic can use an agenda to not forget some important matter. Vasamuseet Vasa is a Swedish warship of the early seventeenth century. Sank near the harbor on its maiden voyage, as the Titanic caused a great commotion in the national society at the time. Built by the determination of sovereign, with the challenge of building the most powerful warship of its time, its 3 main poles amounted to more than 50 meters tall, bearing a dozen candles, was equipped with 66 pieces architecture of various sizes, beautifully decorated with sculptures carved in wood. The team was 50 workers. On August 10, 1628 minutes after loose irons for its maiden voyage, fully loaded, began to leak water, still sinking in the harbor, an incident that shamed the country. 333 years later in the decade of the 50th century, the ship was found immersed in the iodine in the bottom of the harbor, which has the virtue of converting relatively intact structure of the vessel. Thus began one of the most important rescue work of our time. Visitors to Vasamuseet can observe the various aspects of construction, rescue, cleaning, preservation and restoration of the vessel, as well as aspects of daily lives in Sweden in the early seventeenth century. The promise THE PROMISE not just a bedtime story little children, the Promise is a life lesson. It is not just a love story like Romeo and Juliet is the story of a couple who apart from being friends to lovers are companions of a lifetime. At the beginning of the twentieth century in a town of Miranda do Corvo, Lamas (Portugal) there was two girls who besides being companions, were very friendly. Lucinda was known as the Brazilian becouse she´s lived there many years. Graça was known by the nickname "the morgue", treated her well because her father, José de Paiva Manso Sárria de Carvalho, was one of the most influential people of the region and carrying the title of Knight of the Archduke to his majesty, title who has lost a little before fleeing to Brazil. Lucinda and Graça were married and had children, among them José was born (April 12, 1914) and Maria da Graça (23 July 1914) Lucinda with only three months apart from each other. Graça can not to breast-feed her child, but her friend could and offered to feed the man who would become his son. Maria was talented, loved cooking, sewing, had a pure taste up to the time, but yet it was very carefully in their tastes, from the little I could do much. But yet it was a little cold in their feelings. Joseph was a self-taught, loved the arts, since a good literature up to good music, such as Carlos do Carmo to sing "The kids," or classical music, he loved hunting and fishing and had an exquisite black humor. On the day his father left, José had promised himself he would never give up on anything or anyone in life, to take care of all those he loved, believed and above all those in need of help. It was a promise too heavy for a child only 14 years old, and young Joseph had a gift that could not refuse the gift of helping others. He was a hero and was to end. Both enrolled in primary education, the banks of primary school, and it was here that José and Maria started dating, against the popular opinion. As a teenager Maria is engaged to a cousin of his father in Brazil, but Maria simply ignored the wishes of his father there last time you planted left waiting on the quay of Lisbon. At 14, José finds himself there before the first challenge, the flight of his father to Brazil, and get the first responsibility of caring for the support his family. Mother and four siblings, Maria, who was the eldest of five children, Zezita, Carlos and António (order of age) were the youngest. The December 27, 1936 José and Maria get married in the church of Lamas. After marrying, they moved to the city of Coimbra where the first born son, on 5 November 1938 and was named after the famous statue, Óscar. The 1939 starts in what has come to be one of the greatest disasters in human history, the Third Reich. War has affected the participating countries but also countries in the neutral countries. The stock of food became scarce, and the option of each family obtain passwords to food at doses depending on the number of foods from each family. The 1945 war ends with the consequences after the war lasted until the mid-'50 / 60. Four years later comes the second child, Rui Fernando, doomed from the first day of his life, died in the past nine months with meningitis. It was a tough blow to the young couple, who with 27 years saw your baby to suffer and die. For years the fear of having a child was great. At the end of World War II the family moved to Miranda do Corvo. On 9 November 1946, José along with his friend Fausto White co-founded the Volunteer Fire in Miranda do Corvo, where José was second in command in the first term of cooperation, and commander of the second term. On 9 February 1947, was born in Miranda do Corvo new hope, a little girl named Clara, a rebel who made life difficult for parents to their sponsors. Year later with some friends founded a football club in the same location, the "Mirandense". José gets a position of a collaborative store in Lisbon, in 1955, the family have moved once to the capital. My way back then said that Miranda do Corvo has given what he had to give, which would never be in a provincial town. It falls into the Zoófila, where he becomes the No. 4, sir. In 1963, the Parkinsonism is diagnosed José disease affects the central nervous system, particularly affects people very nervous and people with excessive concern, as Joseph once again both of them were meditating on a battlefield like tops of chess. It was a great fight lasted almost twenty years, their children do not know if they would have more pity of his father who was sick or his mother who was watching her husband to languish on a bed. José dos Santos died with those you loved, the family, without honors, and awards to 30 June 1979. Had a last wish was to be achieved, a granddaughter. He had four young grandchildren, two of each child, but had a granddaughter wanted. On 17 February 1983, the granddaughter was born so that Joseph never got to know the daughter of Clara and Carlos. The granddaughter was me, I am the granddaughter that my grandmother wanted me and no one wanted to say until I stress the reason for so much secrecy about one of my grandmother. My grandmother, who always took care of me, I had never told anything. When I became a firefighter in the cooperation that helped to found, in the end my family surrendered and decided to tell. He is my hero, and those are the values that I want to continue, this is my heritage. I want to continue the work of my grandfather, and on top of me and him share the same passion, the arts. The passion for the world and all its members because I am a citizen of the world, and go to where I keep that in mind. The world can be extremely violent and often cruel, but we must try, even if there are people who try to cut the wings. Today my grandmother is 95 years old and is in a home in Miranda do Corvo, and so has often recognizes the family, due to arteriosclerosis.
